The International Ski Federation (FIS) will quickly kill ski racing with its constant innovations and changes in distance, says the president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe .
During the World Cup stage in Estonia, the FIS conducted an experiment and used the same ski lubricant for all athletes without exception.
– Are you for or against such an innovation with ski lubricant?
– I am not what is happening on the international scene, so I do not comment on anything. Let them experiment.
– But in general, how do you like the fact that the FIS tries to level the weak teams with the leaders in this way?
– I don’t know. In Formula 1, do the teams also equalize in this way? In general, I am surprised at a lot of what the FIS tries to do.
