About 1500 people took part in the charity sports competition in the city of Telavi.

A mass run in support of Ukraine took place in the Georgian city of Telavi. According to Radio Liberty, in determining the organizers of the competition, anyone can take part in the races.

To do this, it is necessary to pay a fee of 30 Georgian lari (about 300 hryvnia). The distance of the race is eight kilometers, the route runs from the resort of Lopota to the monastery of Graham.

According to organizers, about 1,500 people took part in the competition. All proceeds will be sent to Ukrainians affected by Putin’s squad aggression.

In addition, an exhibition and sale of handicrafts of young Ukrainians was organized during the event.

“Many people have gathered today to support Ukraine, and this is very important. We have shown the world that we are in solidarity with our Ukrainian friends.

We hope that soon peace will reign in Ukraine. This is a day of peace, goodness and unity, ”said Tariel Khechikashvili, President of the International Fund for Sports, Tourism and Youth.
