Kolesnikov, Malyutin, Minakov, Chikunova and Prigoda will participate in the Russian Swimming Cup in Sakhalin

Swimming world record holder Kliment Kolesnikov will perform at the first stage of the Russian Cup, which will be held in Sakhalin.

From May 1 to 2, for the first time, the Russian Swimming Cup will be held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It will take place in the Aqua City aquatic complex.

According to the press service of the All-Russian Swimming Federation, Kliment Kolesnikov, Evgenia Chikunova, Martin Malyutin, Mikhail Dovgalyuk, Svetlana Chimrova, Andrey Minakov, Ilya Borodin, Maxim Stupin, Vladislav Grinev, Kirill Prigoda, Arina Surkova, Daria will participate in the first Russian Cup stage S. Ustinova, Petr Zhikharev, Alexander Shchegolev, Daniil Shatalov, Pavel Samusenko, Danil Semyaninov, Anastasia Markova, Vladislav Reznichenko.

– I have never been to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk before, even close; the farthest point I got to was Vladivostok. There is anticipation, I want to see the city, see how it is and what. The tasks during competitions are very simple – to show the same results after the Russian championship, since the rest will last only a few days, – the press service of the FSM quoted Kolesnikov.
