Ukraine’s NOC President says what action will be taken if Russians are admitted to the Games.

Ukraine has not yet decided whether to boycott the Olympics if Russian and Belarusian athletes are admitted there. The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, President of the National Olympic Committee Vadim Gutzeit, spoke about this on the air of the United News telethon.

According to the official, each individual federation will deal with the boycott issue independently.

“As for the boycott, I have said many times, the boycott is an extreme decision. I respect every athlete, coach, federation. Every athlete and federation must decide whether they will join or not. Many athletes say they are against joining .in competitions where Russian Athletes Many athletes say they want to compete and get a license for the Olympics.

It is a very difficult decision, but then we will do it together. This will be a separate decision for each athlete and federation. But there will be a political decision, according to which we will decide,” said Gutzeit.

Earlier, the famous athlete Yaroslava Maguchy called the possible boycott of the Olympics a weak position for Ukraine.
