Usyk’s fee for the aborted fight with Fury was revealed

The Ukrainian boxer agreed to an income three times lower than if the fight was held in Saudi Arabia.

Authoritative promoter Bob Arum has revealed the details of negotiations between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and WBA, WBO and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk.

According to the functionary, the Ukrainian boxer can get three times less than what Saudi Arabia offered him.

“The deal about the fight with Fury in London almost guarantees Usyk a fee of 12-15 million pounds. It’s about 20 million dollars. But before that, he talked to the Saudis, who are interested in arranging this fight , but in the winter. They agreed to pay him $60 million.”
