Ukrainian Evgeny Marusyak broke several records at the penultimate stage of the World Cup in Slovenian Planica in ski jumping.
The Ukrainian athlete showed a result of 213.5 meters, which improved his own recent national record, which he set in the qualification – 211 meters.

This allowed Marusyak to eventually take 18th place, which is the best result in Ukraine’s World Cup history. The previous record was held by Vitaly Shumbarts, who finished 21st in 2010 in Sapporo, Japan.
