The Blue-Yellows will face North Macedonia
Ukrainian women’s handball team started a training camp before the play-off matches for the 2023 World Cup.
The team consists of 18 handball players. Tatyana Polyak, Evgenia Koguch, Alena Shupyk and Judit Balog will not be able to play.

Goalkeepers: Maria Gladun (Fuchse Berlin), Victoria Saltanyuk (Galician), Tatiana Chernyavskaya (Bayala, Bulgaria).
Field players: Diana Dmitryshyn, Maryana Markevich, Irina Prokopyak, Anastasia Melekestseva, Marina Konovalova (all from Galician), Yulia Andreichuk (Volda, Norway), Lesya Smoling, Natalya Volovnik (both from Yaroslav, Poland), Daria Kot, Milana Shukal (both from the Carpathians) ), Tamara Smbatyan (Alba Fehervar, Hungary), Irina Glebko (Rymnicu Valcea, Romania), Irina Stelmakh (Podravka, Croatia), Irina Kompaniets (Juventa, Slovakia).
The blue-yellows will fight with North Macedonia for a ticket to the 2023 World Cup. The first game of the second qualifying round will take place on April 8, the second leg is scheduled for April 11.
In the first round of qualification, Ukraine defeated Luxembourg in a two-match confrontation. The Blue-Yellows got two confident wins – 36:13 and 30:11.
The World Handball Championship among women’s national teams will take place in December 2023 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
