The Presidium of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (VFLA) has approved the calendar commission’s decision to transfer the Russian team championship from Bryansk to Sochi.
According to the federation’s press service, the competition will be held on May 24 and 25, 2023.
Earlier, the Presidium approved Ruslan Mashchenko’s candidacy for the post of head coach of the Russian national athletics team.
In March, it was announced that ARAF’s membership of the World Athletics Association (World Athletics) had been reinstated after seven years, but the suspension of Russians and Belarusians from competition was extended due to of the situation in Ukraine.
