Athletistic/ Figure Skating. The International Skating Union (ISU) Congress decided to reduce the number of components of the second assessment in figure skating from five to three.

Previously, when scoring components, judges took into account the quality of the glide, the presence of links in the programs, the interpretation of the music, the composition of the program and the quality of the performance ( performance). Now they have to assess the quality of sliding, composition and presentation.

This reform was adopted to minimize overlaps in the current rules for determining the components of the rent, as well as to facilitate the work of judges who assess 27 criteria simultaneously.
