Defender Dnipro Maxim Zakurdaev recognized the best player in March in the Super League.
According to the results of a survey of fans, team captains and representatives of the FBU, Maxim scored 13 points. In second place is Andrey Agafonov (BIPA, 11 points). Vadim Zaplotinsky (Kyiv-Basket), Maxim Sandul (Budivelnik) and Anton Buts (Zaporozhye) completed the top five.
In March, Zakurdaev’s team won nine out of ten matches in the Super League. The defenseman averaged 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.1 steals (RE 20.4). Half of his three-point shots were successful at 5.2 attempts per game. The defender was named the MVP of the game of the week following the results of two bubbles in Lviv and Kyiv.
