Ukrainian Mykhailo Romanchuk received his second swimming license for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
After the recent victory in the 400m swim, the Ukrainian athlete also completed the standard in the 1500m freestyle.

To win the Olympic license, it was necessary to stay within 15:00.99, while the Ukrainian managed the distance in 14:40.21.
Romanchuk qualified for the 1500m freestyle for the third time. Earlier, the Ukrainian swimmer debuted at this distance in Rio 2016, and won a silver medal in Tokyo 2020.
Romanchuk will have his final swim on Sunday, April 16, in the 800-meter freestyle, where he won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Games.
