Rukh is fighting for a place in the Premier League next season
Mentor Rukh Vitaly Ponomarev was pleased with the actions of his players in the match of the 21st round of the UPL against Dynamo Kyiv (1:1).
“They were not afraid to play football, today’s match showed that not all, but a lot of things the guys managed. In terms of the game, the psychological factor is very important – we have a lot of young players, and the standings put a lot of pressure on them. They have never been in situations like this and it will be a great experience for them if they manage these difficulties. The match against Dynamo showed that you can play with any team, show your football, and not be afraid.”
“We want to play good aggressive football. Of course, this takes time, but we don’t have it, because you need to score points in order to complete the main task – to stay in the Premier League. But at the same time, I am convinced that this team has a great future, and if everything succeeds, then in a year or two it will be able to fight for getting into European competitions.
Rukh is in 14th position in the standings. On April 19, the Lviv club will play an away match with Ingulets.
