Canadian Olympic Champion Radford Elected to ISU Board of Directors

Pyeongchang-2018 Olympic Champion in the Canadian Figure Skater Team Tournament Eric Radford elected to the Board of Directors of the International Skating Union (ISU). The vote took place on the last day of the organisation’s congress, which is taking place in Phuket.

For a seat on the board, Radford competed with 2022 Olympic silver medalist in ice dancing, American Evan Bates. Both skaters have applied for a seat on the board of directors as representatives of the ISU Athletes’ Commission.

Radford is the current head of the Athletes’ Commission. He also competes in pairs with Vanessa James, for the moment the skaters have not announced their retirement.
