Kibalko wins ISU board seat after Congress vote

Head of the International Skating Union (ISU) Technical Committee, member of the Executive Committee of the Russian Skating Union, Alexander Kibalko, received a seat on the ISU Board of Directors following a Congress vote.

The ISU Congress takes place in Phuket.

Skating representatives from Thailand, the Netherlands, Italy and Bulgaria were given seats on the council.

From figure skating, the council included representatives from the United States, Japan, Finland, Hungary and Spain.

In the second round, Kibalko battled for a Council seat with Serbian Slobodan Delic – 63 votes to 55.
