I also understand that, frankly, it’s helplessness, because you want to do something, but you don’t know what. I understand Maria and support her as a human being, but I think she is wasting her energy in vain. Thomas Bach will not change his position. These people do not change it, and organizations, as practice shows, do not change their minds overnight, Shubenkov told .
Previously, Bach, during a speech at the general assembly of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) in Lausanne, had publicly criticized the sports federations for the sanctions against the Russians.
