The Blue-Yellows opened the scoring, but then conceded five goals
National team of Ukraine U-18 lost in hockey Denmark in the second match World Cup 2023 in division IA – 1:5.
The Blue-Yellows opened the scoring at the beginning of the first period, Andrey Puzdranovsky successfully played after the puck bounced off the boards. However, already after 19 seconds, Denmark equalized the score, and before the end of the first 20 minutes, they took the lead.
In the second period the Danes seized the initiative and scored twice more. In the final period, the blue-yellows did not realize a double majority, and conceded the fifth goal in the last minute.
The national team of Ukraine with two points takes the fourth place in the division. Recall that in the first match, Alexander Bobkin’s team beat France (3:2) in shootouts. In the next match, the blue-yellows will meet with Hungary on April 26.
