Five-time winner of the European Figure Skating Championships Alexandra Stepanova said she was happy to see her partner Ivan Bukin after a break due to the birth of a daughter.
At the end of March, 27-year-old Stepanova gave birth to her first child. Also in March, it became known that Stepanova and Bukin joined the group with Alexander Zhulin, they previously trained with Alexander Svinin and Irina Zhuk.
– We returned quietly, first a training session, then we started to add, we did not force. We were happy to meet again during our first training, I remember it very well, because it had already happened with the new team, and the impressions were new from all sides: new coaches, a new ice rink, Vanya and Me too. Vanya had a huge experience in these 7 months, he had a completely different experience for himself and another came, even with a new hairstyle, I also probably changed in some way. So we met and we really hope that May 4 will be our first performance. It seems to me that it will be very exciting for us, for me at least for sure. And we really hope that we will show you a sweet number, a number where everyone will remember that you can and should dream, ” correspondent tells Stepanova.
Stepanova and Bukin will perform in Ilya Averbukh’s ice show “Champions. Favorite songs on the main ”, which will be held on May 4 at the Palace of Sports Megasport in Moscow.
