Shakhraychuk himself will combine work in the national team of Ukraine and the Capitals
Head coach of the Ukrainian national ice hockey team Vadim Shakhraychuk commented on the upcoming season in the championship of Ukraine and announced the debut of the hockey club Kyiv Capitals.
“The entire coaching staff from the FHU has a contract for another year, so we are determined to work it out. As for club affairs, in the new season, a newly created ambitious club Kiev Capitals will appear on the hockey map of Ukraine, which will soon be presented to the public … The leadership entrusted me to form and train the Capitals, so I will combine work in the Ukrainian national team.
“The sponsors of the new metropolitan club will be companies with solid financial capital operating at the international level in the field of high technologies and telecommunications. Their headquarters are in Switzerland and the UK, and the owners of the companies are Ukrainian businessmen.”
“Investors plan to develop the club model and vertical in our hockey by analogy with the best leagues in North America and Europe, so the Capitals will try to build a system and show our hockey players, to whom clubs do not always give out skates and sticks, at what level everything should be in a professional hockey. The guys should be provided with everything necessary and that their eyes should “burn” to play hockey. It is this desire and vision that the sponsors of the Kyiv Capitals team have.
The current champion of Ukraine is Sokol, who defeated Kremenchuk in the final series.
