Kolchin has been leading the club since 2021. In the current season, Belogorye beat Dynamo of Leningrad region 3-2 in a series of matches for 5th place in the Russian championship.
– There was a good atmosphere in the unity of the coaching staff and the players, who, with professional work, gave fourth place to the Spartakiad of the strongest, ensured the first in several years to reach the Final Four of the Russian Cup, and also allowed me to climb a line higher in the championship. In the regular season, despite the almost total absence of games in Belgorod, Belgorod finished fifth, then confirmed its strength in the playoffs, finally formalizing its place in the top five of the strongest teams in the country.
Unfortunately, age and constant travel affected the health of Belogorye’s head coach, which is why he was forced to miss more than two months at the end of the championship.
