Skripnik: We didn’t expect a game with a lot of goals

Vorskla minimally defeated Kryvbas at home

Head coach Vorskla Viktor Skripnik shared his emotions after the victory over Kryvbas (1:0) in the 27th round of the Ukrainian championship. Stepanyuk’s goal brought victory to the Poltava team.

“It turned out the way it happened. We did not expect that there would be a game with a large number of goals. We played one goal scored. Then – as it always happens! – there was a reaction from the opponent, who switched to bulk. We gave up the initiative, started to play more “against” the ball. I think we deserved this goal. When the result is positive, it only adds strength to the next matches.”

“I will note that now we have two players missing the next round – these are Pavlyuk and Seferi, so we will look at who to replace them with. It’s good that Vorskla has good young performers.”

“Gain? We agreed that by the last game of the current championship everything will be cleared up. We will sit down, talk and solve this issue. Now we are thinking about current affairs. On Wednesday – the game, on Monday the train, then – the bus. There is such a picture before our eyes, and then we will look more globally, ”said Skripnik.

Vorskla after the victory over Kryvbas moved to sixth place in the UPL standings. In the next match, Skrypnyk’s team will play against Dnipro-1.
