The Ukrainian lost the fight for the title of absolute world champion
Former two-weight world champion David Haye commented on the result of the duel between Vasily Lomachenko and holder of all lightweight titles Devin Haney.
“It was a tight, close fight. Excellent skills. I didn’t count the points. I sat and enjoyed the skills. I’m here for this.
If everyone wants to see Haney fight Gervonta Davis, then I like it, if it makes sense. Or a rematch with Lomachenko. I would love to watch their rematch. What does Lomachenko need to do to win the rematch? I don’t know, he did a lot today,” Haye told the Fight Hub TV Youtube channel after the fight.
Lomachenko lost in the fight for the title of undisputed world lightweight champion. Devin Haney won by unanimous decision: 116:112, 115:113, 115:113.
