The French team won the last major in CS:GO history
Team Vitality became the winner of the tournament BLAST.tv Paris Major. In the final, the French organization confidently defeated Gamer Legion with a score of 2:0 (Overpass – 16:6, Nuke – 16:13).
For winning the BLAST.tv Paris Major Team Vitality received $500,000 and a ticket to the BLAST Premier World Final. GamerLegion earned $170,000.
Recall that the Ukrainian team Monte lost to GamerLegion in the 1/4 finals of BLAST.tv Paris Major, and Natus Vincere failed to make it to the playoffs of the major, losing in the final round of the legends stage to FaZe Clan.
BLAST.tv Paris Major is the last CS:GO major in history. Counter-Strike 2 is expected to be released in the summer of 2023, and in March 2024 Copenhagen will host the first-ever CS2 major.
