110m hurdles world champion Sergei Shubenkov told that he will participate in the Russian Athletics Team Championship in Sochi.
The Sochi tournament will take place on May 24-25.
– I will play in the Russian team championship. Then I will go home, after which there will be several tournaments in Moscow in early June, in which I also plan to play,” Shubenkov told .
In March, it was announced that ARAF’s membership of the World Athletics Association (World Athletics) had been reinstated after seven years, but the suspension of Russians and Belarusians from competition was extended due to of the situation in Ukraine.
