In November, the defender suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Defender Lucas Hernandez returned to work in the general group Bavaria. Today, for the first time after a serious injury, the Frenchman spent part of a full training session with the team.
Hernandez suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in November in a 4-1 win against Australia in the 2022 World Cup.
In total, Lucas has made 11 appearances for Bayern this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. It was reported that the Munich club would extend the contract with Hernandez until the summer of 2027.
Bayern are second in the Bundesliga. Thomas Tuchel’s side are two points behind Borussia Dortmund with a round to go. On May 27, Bayern will play Cologne on the road.
