By decision of the FIS, Russian and Belarusian athletes were suspended from international competitions last season. FIS Deputy General Secretary Niklas Karlsson said on Wednesday that a decision on admitting athletes from Russia and Belarus to tournaments under the auspices of the organization in May would not be made. Earlier it was reported that the FIS would discuss the issue of admitting Russian and Belarusian athletes to competitions under its auspices on May 24.
