“On Saturday in Las Vegas, Vassily Lomachenko challenged undisputed world lightweight champion Devin Haney. The crowd at the MGM arena and the boxing world reacted with condemnation to the unfair and unfair decision that -depriving Loma of a well-deserved victory and his life’s purpose of being an undisputed champion of peace.
As Loma’s team prepares to challenge the judges’ decision, in light of the extremely controversial outcome of the fight, on behalf of Vassily Lomachenko, I ask that he be left number one in the rating and mandatory contender for the lightweight title. Loma was stripped of his ring win on Saturday, but he deserves the chance to keep his top spot and get another chance to reach his goal soon,” Klimas wrote.
