Florida beat Carolina to become first Stanley Cup finalist

The Panthers’ decisive goal was scored five seconds before the end of regular time in Game 4

Florida beat Carolina in the fourth game of the playoffs of the Eastern Conference and became the first finalist Stanley Cup.

The Panthers took the lead twice, but the Hurricanes equalized both times. Florida’s winning goal was thrown by Matthew Tkachuk five seconds before the end of regulation.

The Panthers have never won the Stanley Cup yet. For the main trophy of the National Hockey League, they will fight for the second time in history.

Recall that in the final series of the Western Conference, Vegas won three victories. The fourth match, which may also be the last, will take place at the Dallas site on the night of May 26th.
