Olympic champion Maria Lasitskene took second place in the high jump at the Russian Athletics Team Championship in Sochi.
Lasitskene took a height of 1.88 meters, sharing second place with Natalya Spiridonova, who showed the same result. First place was taken by Belarusian Karina Demidik (1.91).
Anna Tropina took first place in the 3,000 meter hurdles with a time of 9 minutes 50.14 seconds. Natalya Aristarkhova was second (9:51.21), Veronika Ivanova was third (10:19.74).
Alexandra Gulyaeva became the winner of the 1500 meter race, covering the distance in 4 minutes 09.81 seconds. Svetlana Aplachkina (4:11.74) won silver, Ekaterina Ivonina (4:12.98) bronze.
In the javelin throw, Maya Bogatyreva (56.02m) won, Alexandra Perova (53.09) took second place and Ella Vedeneeva (53.08) was third.
In the men’s 3000m hurdles, Ildar Nadyrov won (8:29.09), Maxim Yakushev was second (8:36.16) and Nikita Kalganov was third (8:39.18).
In the long jump, Yuri Ozhgibesov (7.74m) excelled, Vitaly Pavlov (7.64) was second and Artem Primak (7.58) was third.
The Russian team championship started on May 24. Live broadcasts of the tournament were available on the group of channels, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
