The Figure Skating Association of the Czech Republic received a letter from the FFKKR regarding the refusal to change the sports citizenship of Chirizano

Karel Obrecht, secretary general of the Czech Figure Skating Association, told that on Thursday May 25 he received a discharge from his Russian colleagues refusing to ask for permission. Dario Cirisano represent the country in international tournaments.

Earlier it became known that the skater found a new partner – Czech Denisa Tsimlova, and the Czech association turned to Russian colleagues about transferring Chirizano to their flag. In May, Chirizano received a refusal from the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) in the transition under the auspices of the Czech Federation.

– I confirm without delay that I have received a letter from the FFKKR concerning the figure skater Chirizano. As you understand, I cannot make the inner contents of the letter public, but I will explain briefly: the letter explains the reasons why the approval has not been given at this time. We will continue to negotiate to remove these barriers,” Karel told a correspondent.

Dario Cirizano is a Russian figure skater of Italian origin. Since 2018 he has been playing for Russia with Irina Khavronina, in January 2023 the duo broke up. We quickly learned that Dario was paired with the Czech Denisa Tsimlova, now they are doing an internship with Roman Agenauer at the Montreal Academy.
