Rebrov announced his departure from Al Ain

He is likely to lead the national team of Ukraine

Ukrainian coach Sergey Rebrov announced his retirement from Al Ain. The mentor announced his decision to leave the club from the UAE after losing the final of the UAE League Cup.

Al Ain new head coach appointed Alfred Schroeder. The Dutch specialist is known for his work with Twente, Bruges, Ajax. He was also an assistant to Ronald Koeman in Barcelona.

Rebrov has led Al Ain since the summer of 2021. In the first season, under the leadership of the Ukrainian, the team won the UAE Championship and the League Cup. Al Ain finished the 2022/23 season in second place in the national championship.

Rebrov is likely to become the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team. It was reported that the UAF plans to introduce a new national team coach on Tuesday, May 30.

Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko also played for Al Ain. The UAE club has no plans to renew the contract with the 33-year-old midfielder.
