The men’s team beat North Macedonia, the women’s team beat Hungary
Today, May 27, the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of Ukraine started in Golden Euroleague-2023.
Men’s national team of Ukraine under the leadership of Ugis Krastiņš had no problems in the match with North Macedonia. In Łódź, the Blue-Yellows got a confident victory with a score of 3:0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:11)
Krastiņš’s team will play their next match on May 31 against Croatia. Also in Group B, the Ukrainians will meet with Belgium.
Women’s national team of Ukraine in the first round met with Hungary. Ivan Petkov’s team beat the rivals – 3:1 (22:25, 27:25, 25:9, 25:23).
On Sunday, May 28, the Ukrainians will again play with Hungary in Budapest. Another rival of Ukraine is France.
