American Cruiser set a new world record in the shot put

American Ryan Krauser set a new world record in the outdoor shot put, according to the World Athletics press service.

At the World Athletics Continental Tour Grand Prix in Los Angeles, the athlete pushed the shot 23 meters 56 centimeters.

The last record belonged to Cruiser himself, which he set on June 18, 2021 in Eugene, pushing the core a distance of 23 meters 37 centimeters.

In September 2023, Cruiser set the world indoor shot put record of 23.38 meters.

Cruiser, 30, is a two-time Olympic champion. He also won the world championship in 2022.
