About the best personalities and the main figures of the tour – here.
Goalkeeper – Georgy Klimov (Gornyak-Sport)
His team is relegated, but this is no reason to play the final match of the championship below the possibilities. Klimov made five saves in the match against FSK Mariupol. Sometimes his task was made easier (as when Mochevinsky frankly kicked from a dangerous position), however, in general, these were quite dangerous blows. Georgy parried the aimed blows of Gora and Dmitriev, Penteleychuk’s blow with his fingertips transferred to the crossbar. In the end, he calmly played during the assault attacks of the guests, in particular, he coped with another blow from Dmitriev – already from the nearest distance.
- Best in Champion Group: Alexander Ilyushchenkov (Carpathians)
Right Defender – Dmitry Shinkarenko (Prykarpattya)
Shinkarenko faced a test in the form of active and technical players of FC Chernihiv, and he passed it. Even before the break, he distinguished himself in defense, where he skillfully slowed down Mentey and Serdyukov. It was Dmitry who took the blow of Maxim Serdyuk in one of the most dangerous attacks of the hosts. After the break, Shinkarenko did a lot of good in attack, it was his serve with a header that was closed by Barchuk, who opened the scoring.
- Best in Elimination Group: Oleg Sokolov (Niva)
Central defender – Stanislav-Nuri Malysh (Skoruk)
Bukovina is a team that has a good group of creative midfielders and experienced forwards Sergiychuk and Palahniuk. This guaranteed a serious test for Skoruk’s defense, but the scoreboard remained zero, the defenders outperformed the attacking players. This also applies to Malysh, who acted convincingly at the top, interrupting a lot of passes and crosses from Skrypnyk, Pockmarked and other fast players of the guests. Traditionally, Stanislav-Nuri joined the set pieces – if he had scored after one of the corners, he would have become the hero of this fight.
- Best in Champion Group: Veklyak Bogdan (Metallurg)
Central defender – Vladislav Shapoval (Polesie)
Zhytomyr players finished the championship season without central defenders. What? How? Like this. Gitchenko and Nesterov in the infirmary, Chervak fired and suspended, Jarju with the Gambian national team at the U-20 World Cup. Kalitvintsev had to adapt two flank defenders in the center – Shapoval and Vlasyuk. They played very soundly in their area of responsibility, although they could not keep the match without conceded goals even in a double majority. We praise Shapoval for several duels won, which disrupted LNZ’s scoring attacks, for blocking an opponent’s shot after a mistake by his goalkeeper and reading the game. We condemn the moment with Tishchenko’s goal, although there, of course, there is a lot of blame on the player who lost the fight to Nekhtiy and allowed them to make allowances for the rarefied zone.
- Best in Elimination Group: Maxim Sheptytsky (Gornyak-Sport)
Left back – Jan Morgovsky (Polesye)
Three left-backs in one line – this is a forced know-how of Polesie. Morgovsky, who played in his place, felt a double responsibility. It was he who blocked Tishchenko’s shot on the goal line (it’s good that the moment also ended in an offside position), and also successfully cleaned up for Niche, who, strictly speaking, could have played better on the goalkeeper’s corner. Jan also went forward – for example, Kislenko almost broke the goal post after his strike. In the end, Morgovsky shared with Shapoval the blame for reaching the goalkeeper Tishchenko, although this goal did not play a fatal role.
- Best in Elimination Group: Artem Danilyuk (Bukovina)
Central midfielder – Taras Moroz (Obolon)
The defender of the capital’s team at the legendary stadium “Ukraine” passed the ordeal with the strong and high-class midfield of the Carpathians, performed a large amount of work and actually saved Obolon from defeat in the final round before promotion. Having received a convenient pass under attack from Slobodyan Jr., Taras struck a downright irresistible long-range shot under the crossbar. The second stage did not go well with the midfielder, there were two removals at once, but in Lviv he positively closed his “silver” season.
- Best in Elimination Group: Sergey Belous (Dinaz)
Right midfielder – Stanislav Krystin (Epicenter)
Sharp, maneuverable Krystin brought a lot of trouble to the defense of Kremenchuzhan. Both before the break and after it, Stanislav was constantly on the spurt – after his passes, Gorny and Mironyuk could score, and he himself completed his attacks with high quality. Somewhere after the third attempt, S. Krystin performed a signature shift with a bypass shot. Interestingly, having scored a luxurious (and important) second goal of the Epicenter, he gave way to his brother, V. Krystin. And Vladislav, after four minutes on the field, gave an assist to Chepelyuk.
- Best in Elimination Group: Denis Pidruchny (Gornyak-Sport)
Attacking midfielder Stanislav Morarenko (Dinaz)
Here we have nothing special to comment on: the man pulled out a difficult exit of his team and helped him win a strong-willed victory. Thanks to this, Dinaz went to fourth place in the bottom eight right at the finish line, and this is a completely different impression from the season as a whole. Morarenko could have scored before – he hit the crossbar. But later he fully realized his potential. First, I managed to catch Salabay’s flank pass, then I started to pass on the move from Solovyov and realized an exit to the goalkeeper.
- Best in Champion Group: Igor Gatala (Niva)
Left midfielder – Yuriy Tlumak (Carpathians)
From the first minutes, Tlumak Jr. showed real talent as a conductor: he constantly kept the threads of the game in his feet – and he himself more than once punched Obolons on goal, forcing the experienced Kichak to rescue the guests and gave good, progressive passes. Although Yuri himself failed to score, he gave out several potentially scoring passes at once. In particular, having dealt with several opponents, he moved the ball to the right edge, from where Kozhanov hit the Kyiv goalkeeper.
- Best in Elimination Group: Anton Salabay (Dinaz)
Forward – Vladimir Belotserkovets (Metallurg)
The Zaporozhye club had every chance to win bronze medals, but Sidorov did not score from a deadly position at the end of the match. Therefore, we would like to mention another striker – Belotserkovets. He was distinguished by activity and mobility, managed to cover a large area and effectively interact with Shalfeev and Sokol. With his filing, Sidorov opened the account, and also gave out a number of other promising passes and crosses.
- Best in Elimination Group: Andrey Khoma (Prykarpattya)
Forward – Roman Barchuk (Prykarpattya)
The difficult trip to Chernihiv was of great importance for the Carpathians – if they won, they could win the Elimination Group. And so it happened. And the successful replacements of the coaching staff helped. In particular, Barchuk already three minutes after appearing on the field opened the scoring with a header, and later he successfully worked out more than once at the gates of others. And with a scoop-cast, he redirected the attack, after which Khoma corrected Tsyutsyura’s blow and consolidated the advantage of Ivano-Frankivsk.
- Best in Champion Group: Maxim Gorny (Epicenter)

With significant personnel losses (injured defenders Gitchenko and Nesterov, the winter rookie Dzharja, who could be useful, given the losses in the center of defense, departed for the U-20 World Championship, the top scorer of the championship Budkovsky was disqualified), the Zhytomyr team beat the LNZ, which also claimed on a medal. Thus, for the first time in its history, Polissya became the champion of the First League of the Ukrainian football championship.
Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – here.

In this round, goals from jokers are like from a cornucopia. Volsky from Ternopil saved Niva from defeat in the match with Flint, Kamenchan Chepelyuk from the transfer of another joker, V. Krystin, scored the last goal from Kremn, finally the LNZ goal in Zhytomyr – also from the assist of the player who came on as a substitute (Nechtia). However, all surpassed the Carpathians. In Chernihiv, both goals of the guests – after the successful substitutions of Rypan and Yatsurak. We celebrate Barchuk, because he opened the scoring just three minutes after entering the field, and then won the fight, which was important in the second scoring combination of the winners of the repechage tournament.
Sport Arena stats: 18 league matches, 4 goals.

This guy has only 51 minutes on the field for the entire championship. Of course, it was difficult for an 18-year-old striker to prove himself if he only had 10 minutes or more twice in the entire championship. This time, Volsky also came out for a short time, 5 minutes before the end of normal time, but he managed to open up on the flank feed of Gatala and scored against the Cossacks. We congratulate Daniil on his debut goal, and also note that he is in the top three of the youngest goalscorers of the current championship.
Sport Arena stats: 9 league matches, 1 goal.
17 goals in this tour – both beautiful aimed shots and close-range finishes after a draw to the right or from the standards. However, the best one is the obvious one. Quoting the report: “We had to regret these moments when the Lviv team played inattentively on the line of their own penalty area, Slobodian sightedly passed to the right – to Moroz, and Taras unloaded the cannon with his right foot almost to the very top nine – 1:1. The second goal in the championship with one assist for the “breakwater” of Kiev”.
Goal can be seen on video from 1:34:50

Read later on our website an interview with a player who, with his two goals, brought Dinaz a strong-willed away victory, thanks to which the club finished fourth in the repechage tournament.
Sport Arena stats: 18 league appearances, 4 goals, 2 assists
