Celtic interested in Lunin transfer

He can replace Joe Hart

One of the contenders for the Ukrainian goalkeeper Real Andrey Lunin is Celtic.

The Scottish club is dissatisfied with the performances of the main keeper of the team, Joe Hart, who has been repeatedly criticized this season. In turn, the Celtic leadership began work to find a replacement for Hart, and Lunin is named among the possible options for strengthening.

It was reported that Lunin allegedly lost the confidence of the team’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti. At the same time, the player himself had previously turned to the management of Blancos about a possible transfer.

In the near future, a meeting of the Ukrainian with the management of Real Madrid should take place. The Madrid club is considering the candidacy of Getafe keeper David Soria as a replacement for Andrei.

Earlier, Bayer and Borussia D. were interested in Lunin’s services. Andrei’s contract with Real Madrid is valid until the summer of 2024. On loan from Real Madrid, the goalkeeper played in Leganes, Valladolid and Oviedo.

In total this season, the Ukrainian has played 12 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions, conceding 13 goals. In four fights, the Ukrainian played “to zero”.

Real Madrid are in second place in La Liga. On June 4, the Ancelotti team will end the season with a match against Athletic. Celtic became the champion of Scotland and reached the final of the Scottish Cup, where they will play with Iverness.
