Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City are in the top five
Real Madrid And Manchester United topped the list the most expensive clubs in the world according to Forbes.
Madrid are valued at $6.07 billion, Manchester United worth $6 billion. They are followed by Barcelona (5.51 billion), Liverpool (5.29 billion) and Manchester City (4.99 billion). The top ten most expensive clubs also included Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal.
Newcastle saw the most progress over the past year, with a 51% increase in value ($794 million, 22nd). Lyon achieved comparable growth, increasing its value by 47% (734 million, 26th). At the same time, Ukrainian Vitaliy Mykolenko’s Everton lost 21% and is valued at $744 million (25th).
