Tudor has officially announced that he will leave Marseille at the end of the season

Ruslan Malinovsky’s club has not yet found a new mentor

Head coach Marseille Igor Tudor officially announced that he would leave the team at the end of the season.

“I am leaving the club in a better situation than when I joined. I am leaving for personal and professional reasons. I did not sign a contract with another club. I’m not angry with anyone.”

“We showed good football, which aroused emotions in the public and was appreciated. This is very important for the team. We have the right foundations for the future and I hope that in the short term Marseille will take their rightful place with many trophies.”

“We haven’t found a replacement yet. We will work on this issue in the next few days,” said Olympique sporting director Javier Ribalta.

Earlier, Marseille offered the Croat a new contract. Tudor, who has already made the decision to leave, on Wednesday announced his position to club president Pablo Longoria and sporting director Javier Ribalta.

Marseille are third in Ligue 1 and have secured their place in the Champions League qualification. In the final round, the team of Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky will play with Ajaccio on June 3.
