Ruslan Malinovsky will have a new coach this summer
Marseilles continues to search for candidates for the position of head coach.
The current Olympic coach Igor Tudor has officially announced his retirement. The coach also voiced his position to club president Pablo Longoria and sports director Javier Ribalta.
One of the priority options for the Olympic is the former head coach of River Plate Marcelo Gallardo. With River Plate, Gallardo won the Argentine Championship (2021) and won the Copa Libertadores twice (2015, 2018).
We also note that the coach was on the Al Ain shortlist, which is headed by Ukrainian coach Serhiy Rebrov.
Marseille are third in Ligue 1 and have secured their place in the Champions League qualification. In the final round, the team of Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky will play with Ajaccio on June 3.
