Shmeleva, Vashchenko, Burlakova won the team sprint at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix

Daria Shmeleva Polina Vashchenko, Yana Burlakova won the team sprint at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix.

They showed in the final the result of 46.947 seconds. Natalia Antonova, Ksenia Andreeva, Serafima Grishina (48.190 in the final) and Ekaterina Gnidenko finished second, Sofia Novikova, Elizaveta Buzina, Sofia Zaika finished third with 50.173.

The men’s team sprint was won by Pavel Yakushevsky, Alexander Dubchenko, Artem Zaitsev (Belarus) with a score of 43.701 in the final and Dmitry Nesterov. Second place was taken by Mikhail Dmitriev, Alexander Sharapova, Ivan Gladyshev (43.930), third place was taken by Bogdan Medenets, David Shekelashvili, Mikhail Godin (45.010 in the final) and Maxim Naumov.

The men’s team race was won by Nikita Bersenev, Lev Gonov, Ivan Smirnov, Ivan Novolodsky (3.50.036), second place was taken by Ilya Shchegolkov, Yegor Igoshev, Vlas Shichkin, Denis Denisov (3.54.087), bronze went to Grigory Skornyakov, Daniil Zarakovskiy, Viktor Bugaenko, Mikhail Postarnak (3.54.610).

The women’s team race was won by Polina Danshina, Angelina Novolodskaya, Diana Smirnova, Yulia Chertikhina (4:24.678 in the final) and Yulia Kokareva. Representatives of the Belarusian national team (Taisiya Noskovich, Anastasia Kiptikova, Irina Chuyankova, Alina Korotkina) came second – 4:28.358. Third place was taken by the team, which included Alina Abramenko, Ksenia Shinkarenko, Ekaterina Rusak (all from Belarus) and Diana Klimova – 4:34.854.
