Belarusian Karina Demidik won the high jump competition as part of Moscow Athletics Week.
Demidik showed a result of 1.91 meters. Russians Nadezhda Andryukhina and Maria Kochanova took the same height, but Demidik did it on the first try. The second was Andryukhina, who conquered the height at the second attempt, closed the first three winners of Kochanov (at the third attempt).
Athletics Week takes place in Moscow from June 5-10. As part of it, show races with the participation of sports and media stars, a day of high jumps, a day of long and triple jumps, a day of sprints and the memorial of the Znamensky brothers are planned.
