Famous former Chelsea football goalkeeper Petr Cech signed a contract with a hockey team Oxford City Stars.
The agreement is for the 2023/24 season. The team spent the last season in the Southern division 1 of the British NIHL league.
This is the third hockey club for which the former football player will play. Piotr previously played for Guildford Phoenix and Chelmsford.
Recall that the Cech took part in a charity hockey match of the Belfast Giants team against the Kherson Dnieper. The fight was held as part of the Ukrainian Hockey Dream program to raise money to help Ukrainian hockey players and coaches.
