The Ukrainian team dropped one line in the ranking
The International Federation of Football Associations has published a ranking of the national women’s teams, in which national team of Ukraine, having dropped one line, occupies the 33rd position. Among UEFA representatives, Ukraine is in 22nd place (1644.63 points). The first three of the world ranking are occupied by the USA, Germany and Sweden.
This year, the women’s team beat the Estonian team (98th position) with a score of 1:0 in sparring. Also on June 7 at 22:00 Kyiv time, the women’s team plans to play a friendly match against Portugal, which ranks 21st in the FIFA rankings.
The Ukrainian national team will hold a training camp in July, which will become a preparation stage for the team for the official matches of the debut Women’s League of Nations.
Recall that the Ukrainian team will play in League B, in which the Ukrainians will face the teams of Poland, Serbia and Greece.
