The blue-yellows will play the next match on Sunday with the team of Spain
Women’s national basketball team of Ukraine 3×3 started with two victories in qualification for European Championship 2023.
In the first match, the Ukrainians beat the national team Serbia — 10:5. The blue-yellows focused on defense, in the first third of the meeting they created an advantage of five points, after which they brought the match to victory.
In the second match, Ukraine defeated Denmark — 16:4. The match took place with an overwhelming advantage of the blue-yellows, the Danes managed to score the first points only when the score was 14:0.
Qualifying for Euro 2023 takes place in Constanta, Romania. The competition will continue on Sunday. The Ukrainians will play with the group favorites of the Spanish national team, as well as with the Swiss team.
Recall that the winner of the group will receive a direct ticket to the European Championship. The second-placed team will play in the play-offs for the right to play at Euro 2023. The final part of the European Championship 2023 will be held from 5 to 7 September in Jerusalem.
