Trostyanets announced the termination of cooperation with the head coach Sergei Korytnik. The name of the new coach who will work with the team will be announced later.
This decision of the club is due to objective reasons why the coach and his staff will not be able to start working in Trostyanets.
As became known Sport Arenaamong the candidates for the vacant position are two coaches from the Second League and one from the First League.
Korytnik has been working with the team since the club was founded in 2015. He took over the team from its debut in the championship of the Sumy region, triumphed with Trostyanets at the regional level and brought the team to the Second League.
In June 2022, Trostyanets announced that he would not take part in the Ukrainian Second League championship of the 2022/2023 season. The club withdrew from the competition because of the desire to direct funds for the restoration of the Trostyanets community after the occupation.
In May, Trostyanets announced his intention to resume playing in the PFL in the 2023/24 season. Also, a club from the Sumy region began raising funds to restore the stadium, which was damaged by artillery shelling.
