Silver medalist at the 2018 European Pole Vault Championships Timur Morgunov took second place at the Athletics League festival, which is held in Tver.
Morgunov lost gold to representative of Belarus Matvey Volkov. Both athletes showed a result of 5.71 meters. Third was Russian Alexander Solovyov (5.61).
Among the women, the Belarusian Irina Zhuk won with a score of 4.56 meters. The second and third places were taken by the Russians Polina Knoroz and Aksana Gataullina (both – 4.45).
In the long jump, the Russian Yuri Ozhgibesov excelled, with a result of 7.79 meters. Second place was taken by his compatriot Artem Chermoshansky (7.62), third place was taken by Belarusian Artem Gurin (7.61).
In women, the gold medal was won by the Russian Ekaterina Levitskaya (6.50 meters), the silver by the Belarusian Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova (6.46), the bronze by Svetlana Antoshina (6.32) .
