Ukrainian is preparing for the next fight
Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk told, that he plans to fight his next fight in September on the undercard of the Saul Alvarez fight.
“Tentative plans depend on how they agree with Canelo. Now they promised to box him again on the undercard. I work with Eddie Reynoso as a manager, so the opportunity is always there.”
“Moreover, after my fight, I went into the locker room of Canelo, he invited me to the camp – he says that they should box with Bivol, and he needs a sparring partner. For me, this is absolutely great. I heard that they will be preparing in the mountains. This is a situation where you get top sparring and you get paid for it. For me it’s generally super, it would be great.”
“Now I heard that they still cannot agree with Bivol. But I hope they get along. The plan is to box in September where Canelo does it. Until they agree on the main event, no one will talk about secondary fights.”
The Ukrainian had his last fight in May. In the 6th round, Gvozdik knocked out the Latvian boxer Richards Bolotniks, for Alexander this was the second victory after resuming his career.
