Blue-yellows continue their winning streak
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team got a victory over France in the third round Golden Euroleague-2023.
The blue-yellows took the first set (25:21), after which they won the second game (25:17). The French team managed to bounce back and took the third set behind them (17:25). The blue-yellows did not miss their chance, the Ukrainian team put the squeeze on France and won the fourth game (25:11).
In the first match of the group stage, Ivan Petkov’s team managed to beat Hungary in Budapest – 3:1 (22:25, 27:25, 25:9, 25:23). With an identical score, the Ukrainian team beat Hungary again in the second round – 3:1 (25:17, 22:25, 25:15, 26:24).
With three victories, Ukraine is in the lead in Group C. On June 18 at 16:00 Kyiv time, Petkov’s wards will fight France again. Ukrainians advanced to the Final Four of the Golden Euroleague in volleyball.
