Miller: If Usyk-Fury fight doesn’t happen, I’m right here to take part

American boxer ready to fight Usyk

American heavyweight Jarrell Miller expressed his confidence that he is able to impose competition on the WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“I think Usyk and Fury will make a great fight. At the moment, these two top heavyweights are at their peak. I think that sooner or later this fight should take place. But if it doesn’t happen, then I’m right here to participate.”

“Now Usyk is one of the best boxing masters, but he did not fight the big guy. Anthony Joshua might be big, but he didn’t fight him like a big guy, he fought on tiptoes. So if Usyk fights a guy like me who goes forward with fast hands, good head movement and not afraid to take a hit, it will be a different story.”

Recall that Miller in 2019 passed a positive test for illegal drugs before the fight with Anthony Joshua for the world heavyweight title. Later, the American was disqualified for two years.

Usyk is preparing for his next fight with British Daniel Dubois. The fight is scheduled to take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland. Previously, options for holding a championship fight in the UK and the Middle East were considered.
