Ukrainians took third place in the group
Women’s team of Ukraine in basketball 3×3 finished speaking at European Games 2023.
As part of the group stage, the Ukrainians beat Poland (19:16), but lost to Estonia (13:14) and Lithuania (14:21). The blue-and-yellows included Kristina Filevich, Oksana Mollova, Veronika Kosmach and Miriam Uro-Nile.
With one win in the asset, Ukraine took third place in the group. Lithuania and Poland made it to the 1/4 finals.
The Ukrainian women’s 3×3 basketball team took part in the European Games for the third time. In 2015, the Ukrainians became silver medalists, and in 2019, the blue-and-yellows could not overcome the group round.
In total, the Ukrainian national team has 11 medals at the European Games 2023 – five gold, three silver and three bronze. Competitions in Krakow, Poland will end on July 2.
