Price: Usyk hits hard enough to knock out Joshua

David believes that there will be more drama in the rematch between the Ukrainian and the British

British heavyweight David Price spoke about the second fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua. He believes that the Ukrainian world champion can knock out his opponent.

“If Joshua chooses the aggressive path, it will be open. I think Usyk hits hard enough to knock him out. As for me, he miscalculated Joshua in the first fight. I think there will be more drama in the rematch anyway. If Joshua loses, he will go on the shield. I don’t think it’s going to get to the scorecards,” Price said.

“Joshua is able to end the fight because he is a great finisher, but Usyk is just like the Matrix. He showed a different style that is not often seen.”

It was reported that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Jeddah. The winner of the fight can fight Tyson Fury for the title of undisputed heavyweight world champion.

Usyk defeated Joshua last fall to become the new WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion.

Price announced his retirement from boxing in October 2021. The last fight the British held in the fall of 2019, losing to Derek Chisora by technical knockout in the fourth round.
