Athletistic/ Figure Skating. 2011 World Men’s Single Skating Championship bronze medalist Artur Gachinsky believes competition has increased in Russian men’s single skating. He explained why.
– It is noteworthy that high competition appeared in Russian men’s single skating. All the leaders of our team take part in the same competitions. It’s just that we didn’t have such tournaments before, when there were international departures. There were no competitions when, say, the entire Russian figure skating tower participated in one tournament. Each of them was divided into stages of the Grand Prix, and we could only observe the competition at the Russian Championship, when all the athletes converge in one start”, Gachinsky “Championship” quotes the words.
